Sunday Message: Holy Ghost Stories - Seeing Ghosts
Sunday May 16, 2021
Sunday May 16, 2021
Pastor Clay continues the Holy Ghost Series by looking at Matthew 14: the disciples are caught in a storm and think they see a ghost. But this encounter is with no mere ghost; it's an encounter with the Son of God Himself, Jesus. We won't see Jesus like they did, but we still do see Jesus. What do we do when that happens?

Wednesday May 12, 2021
Wednesday May 12, 2021
Eric and Pastor Clay are back to talk about Sunday's message, Elijah's story, and our cultural aversion to silence. In Elijah's life, God is made known in the silence. Do we give God the opportunity to be made known in the silence?

Sunday Message: Holy Ghost Stories - Seeing God
Sunday May 09, 2021
Sunday May 09, 2021
Pastor Clay continues the Holy Ghost Stories series by looking at Elijah, whose life itself is a ghost story. He angers a queen, is forced to flee for his life, and then has to endure a wildfire, a whirlwind, and an earthquake. That's quite a story, but the most impressive part is where God's presence is found: in the silence. We overlook silence in our loud world, but what could God be trying to tell us in the silence?

Wednesday Apr 28, 2021
Wednesday Apr 28, 2021
Eric and Pastor Clay are back to talk about Jacob's story and marvel at what God is up to when unworthy people are called into God's service. Jacob's life is one of constant scandal, and yet he's the good guy. What message could that have for us as we live our lives?

Sunday Apr 25, 2021
Scripture: Genesis 32:22-32
Series: Holy Ghost Stories
As a way of preparing for Pentecost, we're going to spend a couple weeks looking at parts of scripture where the Holy Spirit is alive and active. Jacob wrestles with God and comes to conclusions about life that could only be revealed by God's spirit resting on him. The Spirit leaves him forever changed; how does the Spirit change you?

Pastor Clay and Eric come together to nerd out about church camp. Both of them have had powerful experiences, and they are eager to share. Pastor Clay also gives his interpretation of the Book of Jonah in about three minutes, which is fun. Camp has shaped the lives of so many people, and there is just nothing like church camp.

Sunday Message: Camp Sunday
Sunday Apr 18, 2021
Sunday Apr 18, 2021
Scripture: Jonah 4:1-11
Pastor Clay talks about the importance of camp and retreat ministries and shares a message that is bigger than camp: God loves you and God loves Nineveh. When that's hard to hear, God is listening. When we are longing to be heard, we can trust God to hear us, receive us, and make sure that we feel heard (even if we don't agree).
